Avest 2205 is a Duplex Stainless combination of Ferritic & Austenitic that can be made into fasteners due to its highly anti-corrosive properties. It has higher corrosion resistance than 316 stainless and is also highly resistant to stress corrosion & Chloride cracking. Avesta 2205 has beed determined to be cost effective because it has only 5% Nickel. Duplex stainless has high strength, ductility, toughness and weldability.
